Honest thoughts and review from the BIG BALLOON BUILDIf you are like me, you have a quite curious personality and a slight diagnosis of YOLO. I have always wondered what it would be like to participate in the BIG BALLOON BUILD and what would make it different from FLOAT or Burton + burton’s Ballooniversity. I wanted to take a minute and share this unforgettable experience I had just a few weeks ago. After coming home from Lake Geneva at the BIG BALLOON BUILD, I was completely overcome with emotion. Honestly, I’m still in shock. It was a whirlwind! Just think… I was able to see the initial concept and be part of the progress we have made over 3 days! It is truly incredible! I am so thrilled that I was able to be one of 75 artists who were able to step away from homes, lives and business to participate in this! When I heard Sara Meyer mention it on her Bright Balloon podcast, I instantly knew that I wanted in! I am truly grateful that I was able to work along side such amazing and creative artists. It’s not everyday that you have the chance to play with over 100,000 Qualatex™ balloons with other balloon experts. If you guys ever have the opportunity to join a build, definitely go! Don’t second guess yourself. Not only can you positively impact local charities and communities, but you undeniably gain and build balloon knowledge as well. Hopefully I get to see you at the next one! Xoxo Crystal
